Lake Point EB-5

(FDOT) CERTIFIED MINE

LAKE POINT MINE

(FDOT) CERTIFIED MINE

The Lake Point Project is a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Certified Mine that produces a wide variety of limestone aggregates (base rock, stones, rip rap, sand, and fill products) that are used in the construction of roads and other infrastructure. The Project is located in Port Mayaca, Florida (Martin County), approximately one mile east of Lake Okeechobee’s Port Mayaca Locks on the south shore of the St. Lucie Canal, in one of South Florida’s poorest communities and a TRUE EB-5 Targeted Employment Area (TEA).

Lake Point’s mineral holdings represent arguably the best source of certified, high quality shell rock outside of the Lake Belt mining region in South Florida. The proven reserve on the property is estimated to contain over 60 million tons of aggregate reserves. The mining operation currently produces one million tons of material per year, and directly supplies FDOT, the South Florida Water Management District, Palm Beach and Martin Counties, and dozens of private companies and heavy highway contractors.

Today, Lake Point remains a fully permitted, active quarry and mining operations continue.

The AVSRC team worked with the management team at Lake Point to raise a total of $39 Million in EB-5 investment from 78 EB-5 investors and created over 800 much-needed jobs.
